About This Cause
Adelante Hispanic Achievers (AHA), based in Louisville, Kentucky, is dedicated to empowering Hispanic and Latinx youth and their families. Through a variety of programs, Adelante provides holistic support to middle and high school students, focusing on academic success, career exploration, cultural awareness, mental health, and personal development. With a proven track record of 100% high school graduation rates and up to 97% of students advancing to college, Adelante is committed to ensuring access to higher education opportunities. Additionally, the organization partners with colleges and universities to provide full-ride tuition scholarships to its seniors. The mission of Adelante is to empower Hispanic/Latino youth and families to achieve their dreams and become educated, creative, and contributing global citizens. Adelante's comprehensive, long-term approach engages students and their families from middle school through high school, preparing them for career and college success through intensive instruction, personalized tutoring and mentoring, career exposure, and community service opportunities. Adelante's commitment to the Latino community is evident through its role as a leading organization in Jefferson County. By bridging gaps in the community and school systems, Adelante provides educational resources and support while earning the trust of families. Each student's uniqueness is valued, and Adelante helps them set and achieve their educational, personal, and career goals by creating a supportive network that includes parents, mentors, tutors, and community leaders.
