Mission Statement
The South Tampa Titans mission is to build a community that fosters youth development in self-discipline, self- confidence and self-esteem through a competitive, academic and athletic program for young athletes. Dedicated to adult mentoring by coaches and parents, the South Tampa Titans want to set a precedence for our young athletes to enhance a positive, healthy lifestyle which provides opportunities for growth and future success that go beyond the sidelines.
About This Cause
The Pop Warner - South Tampa Titans Football and Cheerleading Association is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, all volunteer organization designed to help teach children and adolescents important life-skills utilizing athletics and related programs. We are an affiliate of Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc., in the Tampa Bay area associated with Foundation for Youth Development (FYD). Our goal is to help children and adolescents learn the importance of these traits: • Self-Discipline • Academic Achievement • Moral Values • Social Skills Pop Warner is the only national youth football and cheerleading program that recognizes educational accomplishments by challenging all participants to be academically and physically fit. Pop Warner awards scholar-athletes for their performance in the classroom through the All-American Scholar program. As a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, the South Tampa Titans rely heavily on sponsorships, fundraising, and volunteers to support our programs. In these unprecedented times, it is especially hard for organizations such as ours to continue operating. We depend on our local businesses and partners like yourself to help keep our programs alive. All donations help pay for the costs to run the organization such as: football & cheerleading equipment, uniforms, equipment upgrades and maintenance, insurance costs, practice and home game field usage, league registration fees, Cheer competitions, referee fees, etc. Many of our past Titan players have moved on to become successful high school and college football players. Our Home Field is the football stadium at Jefferson High School. Approximately 15% of the boys and girls in our organization come from military families and many of our volunteer coaches serve at MacDill Air Force Base. We are asking for your support with our upcoming 2025 season. As the league has grown, so has the need for sponsors. We have enclosed a Sponsorship Form for your review. Please keep in mind that you are in no way limited to giving the amounts listed on the Form. We will graciously accept a donation in any dollar amount as every dollar counts.
