About This Cause
Mission: Washington Latin provides a challenging, classical education that is accessible to students throughout the District of Columbia. We seek to develop students to become throughout people who will contribute to the public good as citizens and continue a lifelong quest towards a fuller humanity. Our Philosophy: Washington Latin Pubic Charter Schools offers a liberal arts education grounded in the classics to over 1000 students in grades 5-12 from across DC. We believe that all students deserve a top-notch education that goes beyond preparation and focuses on developing knowledge, understanding and humanity. Ours is a school where words matter, ideas matter, and people matter.
