Mission Statement
Illinois Shorthair Rescue is a non-profit breed rescue group serving Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan. Our mission is to help German Shorthaired Pointers in need; place them in responsible, loving homes, and educate the public about the breed.
About This Cause
We save GSPs from animal control facilities, humane societies, and neglect, cruelty, or owner give-up situations. Our rescued dogs get loving care and needed medical attention. They are fostered in private homes and live indoors as family companions while they wait for their forever homes.
