Mission Statement
Faith Cafe is a partnership of communities who in love, compassion and justice, are dedicated to serving our neighbors who are hungry for food and community. We accomplish this by serving a free meal, as a family, and advocating for long-term social changes that reduce poverty and hunger. Faith Cafe is open to anyone who is hungry. We are filled with a spirit of hospitality and humbly serve our guest with respect. It a privilege to serve.
About This Cause
Faith Cafe is a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization. Faith Cafe is a Coalition Group. Faith Cafe operates with financial support from churches in the Beaverton area. We are supported by individuals, businesses, grants and a partnership with the Oregon Food Bank. Faith Cafe complies with all USDA, State of Oregon and Washington County Health Department requirements. Highlights include, Low cost "home-cooked" meals, community involvement-over 500 dedicated volunteers, nutritious meals served with dignity, community fellowship between guests and volunteers. We have operated for over 11 years and served 100,000 meals. Hot meals are served every Sunday evening and the last Thursday of each month, and a hot lunch every Saturday Each meal is prepared and served by a volunteer team for one of our participating groups.
