Mission Statement
Since 1924, Portland Christian School has been committed to honoring our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Creator of all things, with a learning environment that is based on biblical principles and is intellectually stimulating. Our desire is to work cooperatively with the student’s home and church, “so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work”. (II Timothy 3:17, NIV)
About This Cause
Portland Christian School in Louisville, Kentucky is a PK-12 college preparatory school founded in 1924 on the principle that “the fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge.” We are dedicated to presenting every subject in the light of God’s revelation in the Bible and to maintaining a high standard of academics. We are also committed to keeping Christian education affordable and accessible to all who deeply desire it, awarding financial assistance each year to over half of our students. PCS has over 450 students and is fully accredited by ACSI and AdvancEd.
