Common Change seeks to eliminate personal economic isolation from the face of the earth by providing solutions for pooling money with people you know to share with people you care about.
About This Cause
COMMON CHANGE WAS BORN OUT OF A VISION THAT STILL GUIDES US: THAT THERE IS ENOUGH FOR ALL WHO INHABIT THE PLANET. WE BELIEVED THEN, AS WE DO NOW, THAT IF WE COULD JUST GET ENOUGH PEOPLE TOGETHER WE COULD ELIMINATE PERSONAL ECONOMIC ISOLATION. With the desire to move resources more directly to needs with as few degrees of separation as possible, Common Change provides a robust solution in which people can create their own collaborative giving group to support people who need assistance. Groups are member-funded, and needs are member-presented and member-met. Common Change acts as a full-service host to giving groups. • Administration of Group Funds • Donations to the Group Fund are tax-deductible • Group Decision-Making • Fund Disbursement • Funds go to meet needs of individuals and families
