Real. Change. Now. Go. It is the vision and mission of Rohi Christian Church for people to have a real authentic experience, be changed in community with others, be moved into serving now and then go to the world and tell others.
About This Cause
Rohi Christian Church is a multi-ethnic, economically diverse, Spirit-filled, discipleship-oriented church located in San Jose, CA. The heart of Rohi Christian Church is to love God and love people. Rohi Christian Church was founded by the late Pastor Jeffery Heard, Sr. whose heart was for at-risk young people, the lost and hurting in the local community, and desiring to connect them to a better life through basketball and life skill building workshops. The program known as Midnight Basketball, grew so much that Rohi Christian Church was later birthed out of it. Since Pastor Jeff Heard's widow, Pastor Sheyna has picked up the mantle of leading Rohi Christian Church, thousands more people have been reached in the community with different giving campaigns that are done throughout the year to those who are in need in the community, including through a homeless outreach ministry, and a worldwide prayer ministry. Food, money, gift cards, toys, bicycles, and experiences are just some of the tangible things that have been given by Rohi Christian Church to those in need in the community. Always looking to extend love and expand its reach globally, Rohi Christian Church is now expanding into medical missions to bring medical aid and supplies to those who are most in need around the world.
