At Teen Action and Support Center, we empower teens to take action in their own lives and communities.
About This Cause
- Our Vision - TASC is a safe and inviting environment where youth, parents, community members and staff work together to provide support and opportunity for teens and their families. We ENCOURAGE teens to reach their full potential through practical learning experiences. We EMPOWER teens to take control of their futures through counseling and mentoring. We CONNECT teens to their communities through resources and service opportunities. - We Believe - Young people are strong, intelligent, and talented in unique and powerful ways. Young people can and do make valuable contributions to their to their communities and schools. Young people have the ability to take control of their futures. -Our Programs- - IN SERVICE - Our program for volunteer service. All teens are welcome to come serve with us on a variety of local projects. - FIRST STEPS - Our program for teens who are pregnant or currently parenting. - THE CLOSET - Our program for the collection of resource initiatives that meet the needs of teens in NWA. - TEEN THRIVE - Our program for teens with housing insecurity and other hardships. - RESTORE - Our program for counseling, mediation services and support groups to help teen and families.
