Mission Statement
Founded in 2005, the Institute for Civic Education in Vietnam (ICEVN) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, established to promote and impact basic knowledge of civic education as well as social responsibilities, practices of duty, obligation and rights of citizens to the people of Vietnam. The Charity's special focus of the educational programs is in the areas of managerial leadership development training, entrepreneurship and transparency development, civic education and linguistic and cultural translation of civic knowledge. This will help citizens of Vietnam to work more effectively with the increasingly global market and society.
About This Cause
The mission of ICEVN is to promote social responsibilities and transparency in Vietnam by providing civic education, entrepreneurship education, and managerial leadership development. ICEVN programs include the following - Provide courses and workshops on entrepreneurship, managerial leadership development, civic education and civic leadership skills development - Provide translation into Vietnamese the theories and literature of civic knowlege, leadership development and entrepreneuship. - Provide comprehensive "train-the-trainer" classes to target group of people who will become trainers for ICEVN in the future - Provide on-line forums for exchanging ideas and best practices among civic education activists and fellows. - Establish an online library of Vietnamese translated work of great books in humanity and social science to provide free access to everyone from Vietnam and around the globe.
