Mission Statement
COC Mission: With every breath, The Church of Celebration will "CELEBRATE" Jesus as the Lord of our Lives! We will daily worship and praise him, live and teach the Bible to all the followers of the faith, and seek and win the unclaimed! Vision: With every effort, we will MAKE HIS NAME MORE FAMOUS in Maricopa Arizona, the USA and the World. Statement Of Faith: Since the First Century Church was established, followers of Jesus have held to certain core beliefs that were their standard for faith and practice. Creeds, belief statements and or confessions have been passed down through the centuries to help to identify the essential truths of Christian faith while at the same time guarding against false teaching about God and His Word. These truths are not meant to divide but rather to unite believers under a common banner of belief. As such, it is important to know that: In essential beliefs-we have unity. In non-essential beliefs-we have liberty. In all our beliefs-we show love.
About This Cause
The Church of Celebration is a christian, evangelical, missional and benevolent church. We have two services on Sunday mornings to worship together as the body of Christ. Our Life Groups offer Bible study in a small group environment meeting throughout the week with a variety of studies to choose from. There are classes during each service for our newborns through high school age. Our mission teams offer several opportunities to serve with trips to Israel, Fiji, Mexico and India to help those in need. Every spring our men can attend Man Camp and the women have a retreat in the fall at Lost Canyon in Williams, Arizona. Our youth have summer camps where they can invite friends and share Jesus with those who don't know Him. Many have turned their lives over to Jesus at these camps. We offer Financial Peace University classes at least twice a year to learn to take control of your finances and get out of debt and avoid getting into it. Our Care Ministry serves to help new believers to follow Jesus as he has instructed us through his Word. They also teach the Art of Marriage classes and are available to counsel those dealing with every day struggles. PowerPack Copa was started to help feed those children attending Maricopa schools who go home on the weekends that don't have any or enough food to eat by providing these kids with backpacks of non-perishable food. In the fall, Trunk or Treat is an event that offers a safe and fun environment for kids to dress up, get candy and hang out with their friends. May 2016 is the tenth anniversary of COC and we look forward to serving Maricopa, the USA and the World by making Jesus's name more famous and saving lives for eternity!
