Shepherds’ Support serves international ministry leaders in under-resourced areas through training and love that Encourages, Equips and Engages pastoral couples so that they can finish well in both their ministry and marriage.
About This Cause
Pastors and ministry leaders in many less resourced countries are laboring in their growing churches with limited resources and little help. This reality is what makes Shepherds’ Support so strategically important. Shepherds' Support works with multi-skilled teams to multiply the ministries of our international colleagues through spiritual encouragement, practical equipping and relational engagement. We are pastors to the pastors. Shepherds' Support began in the fall of 2006 and hosts equipping conferences for pastoral couples serving in challenging environments. Over the past 18 years our teams of pastors and mature Christian couples have impacted thousands of leaders and the people who they serve and send throughout 30 nations. Ministry leaders in many countries face a variety of struggles: - Limited resources - Lack of training - Marital and family stress - Bi-vocational time pressure - Spiritual opposition - Isolation - Lack of support - Cultural barriers - Social and political persecution Our Mission Shepherds’ Support serves international ministry leaders in under-resourced areas through training and love that Encourages, Equips and Engages pastoral couples so that they can finish well in both their ministry and marriage. The Response Shepherds’ Support hosts conferences all around the globe for ministry leaders who serve in challenging environments. Our teams of pastors and mature Christian couples serve those who attend so that they can be effective throughout their ministry as they take the Gospel to the unreached.
