Mission Statement
Since inception in 2006, Building Homes for Heroes® has been building or modifying homes for wounded veterans throughout the country. Largely in part to corporate partnerships, the organization has been able to considerably increase its capabilities, and it is anticipated that the number of families assisted will increase each and every year.
About This Cause
Building Homes for Heroes builds and modifies homes for wounded veterans throughout the country. Some of our amazing accomplishments are: • 345 Total Homes • Constructed, Gifted and Modified to Date • Gifting in 35 States • Goal of 500 Homes by 2025 • 11 Homes Gifted in 11 Weeks – Leading up to Veterans Day • 95% Program Rating • 4 Star Charity Navigator Rating • 100% Transparency Rating • Platinum Guidestar Rating BHH is strongly committed to supporting the brave men and women of the military who were injured, post-September 11, 2001, while serving the country at the time of the wars in Iraq or Afghanistan. BHH builds or modifies homes and gifts these homes, mortgage-free, to veterans and their families. Since 2006, BHH has been at the forefront of making a significant difference in the lives of the wounded men & women of the military forces of the US. We build homes from the ground up or modify existing homes to meet the needs of the brave men and women who selflessly served our country. These mortgage-free homes not only help to remove the family's financial burden, they help to restore the individual's freedom, and enable the veteran to lead a more independent and productive civilian life.
