Mission Statement
Hiawatha Academies is a network of high performing college-preparatory schools focused on closing the opportunity gap in Minneapolis. We are creating a college preparatory educational program based on true inquiry, intellect, and character. Hiawatha Academies seeks to grow to a quality and scale at which we permanently disrupt the historic relationship between demography and destiny by ensuring a great school for every child in Minneapolis.

Hiawatha Academies is focused on closing the opportunity gap and creating a more equitable system of education. We offer our scholars the opportunities and resources necessary for them to grow to their full potential. Our schools are intentionally built around their needs to ensure 100% of our scholars graduate from high school college ready.
