Mission Statement
College Tribe’s mission is to cultivate character, scholarship and social competence of 3rd to 8th grade boys living in Washington DC.
About This Cause
College Tribe is a STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Math) and mentoring program located in Washington D.C., and our goal is to ensure that African American boys from our target area are equipped to succeed in life. College Tribe instills character by teaching our boys to be disciplined, trustworthy, and compassionate; we advance their scholarship by promoting logical thinking and excellence in math and English; and we help them prepare for successfully navigating mainstream society by encouraging the development of social competence. STEM, Arts, Reading, and mentoring are the cornerstones of our programming.
