Mission Statement
The Pepper Foundation is an all volunteer based non profit animal rescue organization dedicated to rescuing special needs and senior animals from high kill shelters! Our mission is to get each animal examined by one of our licensed veterinarians. Many of the animals come to us severely neglected and many times abused. Our goal is to get each animal we rescue rehabilitated and healthy again so that he/she can find their way into loving forever homes. We spare no epense and we truly believe every animal deserves a second chance!
About This Cause
The Pepper Foundation is an all volunteer based 501 (c) 3 public charity dedicated to rescuing animals from high kill shelters mainly in California. We focus on the seniors and special needs dogs because they are the ones to be euthanized first and dont stand much of a chance of getting adopted by the general public. Every Animal we rescue gets straight to the vet for blood work. xrays, urine and whatever else might be necessary to ensure the very best quality of life. Many of the animals we rescue come to us needing major surgeries and procedures. We spare no expense because we believe every animal deserves a fighting chance. All animals we rescue go into loving foster homes where they will remain until a forever permanent home can be found. We find that with proper veterinary care and a loving home with TLC most of these abandoned animals go on to live another great many years!! Our favorite quote is: " The Kindness we do for an animal may not change the world , but it will change the world for that one animal."
