Mission Statement
To improve the health of the area's under-served. We work to accomplish this by providing partial medication payments for those in need. Additionally, we direct and assist individuals to patient assistance programs and other community organizations. We envision a community where all patients have access to the medication they need without worry.
About This Cause
HealthFriends, Inc. is a non-profit organization with two official staff and fifteen committed volunteers that is entirely funded by donations and grants. We are a community partnership founded by The Mohawk Valley Network, Inc. St. Francis de Sales Parish Utica and Catholic Charities of Herkimer County. We work to improve the health of the areas under-served by providing partial medication payments for those in need. As well as directing and assisting individuals to patient assistance programs and other community organizations.
