Mission Statement
Mission Statement/Purpose of S. CA Abyssinian Rescue (SCAR) The purpose of SCAR is to try to keep Abyssinians out of the local shelters by providing a group willing to work with individuals to find a responsible, loving home for every Abyssinian or part Abyssinian. We work with people and owners who need to re -home their cats for any reason, death, allergies, moving, etc. We often help with owners by helping pay their vet bills so that they can keep their cat. We work with local shelters by picking up Abyssinians and finding them a permanent home.
About This Cause
Southern California Abyssinian Rescue (SCAR) helps Abyssinian cats in need. We provide foster homes for temporary housing, transportation, counseling for owners with cat behavioral issues and any other services that are needed at the time. We are a 501( c) (3) organization that is an all volunteer service.
