Mission Statement
Million Meal Movement has a two-fold mission: feeding the hungry in Indiana and teaching the importance of volunteerism through hands-on, high-energy meal packing events. Million Meal Movement’s vision is an Indiana where its residents can hunger for something greater than their next meal.
About This Cause
The goal of our program is to reduce food insecurity in Indiana and promote volunteerism through the packaging and delivery of our shelf-stable meals to food banks and pantries that serve Indiana. We host public and private meal packing events in which volunteers package a Macaroni & Cheese or Rice & Soy Dinner. Our meal packing events are suitable for ages 6 and up. Our meals are packed by Hoosiers for Hoosiers. Since our founding in 2007, volunteers have packed over 32 million meals to feed families throughout Indiana and the region.
