Mission Statement
The Tim Griffith Foundation helps to heal and strengthen Bay Area communities by providing support and services to those affected by addiction, violence and loss.
About This Cause
In September 2004, 21-year-old Tim Griffith was killed in a senseless and devastating act of violence. Tim’s mother, Stacey Redman, created the Tim Griffith Foundation in 2005 to carry Tim’s memory forward. Through the exceptional partnership with the Bridges Program and the Service League of San Mateo County, Tim’s House was born. Tim’s House provides transitional housing for young men recovering from addiction and returning to society after incarceration. In 2010 we began providing direct services through the creation of the unique Meadowlark Retreats for grieving mothers. Today, we provide a variety of services to the community through a combination of financial support and our signature programs.
