Mission Statement
New Concepts for Living is committed to care for and enrich the lives of adults challenged with developmental and physical disabilities. We have and will continue to provide a safe and nurturing environment where each individual can attain their highest level of independence. We will continue to offer reliable, clean and modern housing options, an adult achievement center day program, with a full calendar of activities and outings, on-site behavioral services as well as nursing care, transportation and a highly trained, caring staff. New Concepts for Living is also committed to partnering with families and guardians to achieve this mission for all individuals in our care.
About This Cause
Established in 1981, New Concepts for Living is a community based not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. We provide housing, day programs, behavioral services and more for the outstanding individuals that are entrusted to our care. Currently operating community residences (group homes and supervised apartments) throughout Bergen and Passaic Counties and a Day Program Achievement Center, we enable our clients to reach their full potential by offering programs, support and services designed to enhance their daily living and social skills, cognitive behavior, self-esteem, mental and physical health and overall quality of life. At New Concepts for Living we are committed to providing our clients with round-the-clock care for life while promoting individual independence. Today, New Concepts for living is proud to offer many services that ensure these individuals achieve their potential and live as independently as possible! All our programs and services are designed to enhance the lives of the nearly one hundred clients we serve. Everything we do is aimed at enhancing their daily living and social skills as well as cultivating their intellectual development while providing a safe and fun environment where they can thrive!
