Mission Statement
The Network assists families and individuals who have experienced domestic and interpersonal violence. Helps educate to promote healthy relationships, and advocates for safer communities. The Network leads North Central Connecticut in preventing domestic abuse and fostering, healthy, violence–free relationships.
About This Cause
The Network Against Domestic Abuse, Inc. is one of 18 member programs of the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence. All services are available without discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, marital status, physical disability or sexual preference. Description Service, Benefit, Assistance of Program Activity: Family Violence Victim Court Advocate located in the Enfield criminal court provided assistance with criminal court procedures and referrals for victims within the CT Family Violence Law, including information regarding protective and retraining orders. Part Time Family Violence Victim Court Advocate located in the Rockville criminal court provided assistance with criminal court procedures and referrals for victims within the CT Family Violence Law, including information regarding protective and retraining orders. Assisted women and children by provided a confidential safe house, food, clothing and support. Provided 24/7 emergency hotline which supports and advocates for women and children who reside in our safe house. Holiday and back to school program for our community clients children. Provided clothing, back packs, bikes, gifts, toys and lunch snacks to over 128 children. The community youth educator provided educational services about healthy relationships to students in high school, middle and elementary schools. The Adult advocate provided one on one support and group counseling to individuals who live in our communities. All of our services are free of charge.
