Mission Statement
Network, Inc. has been serving people with special needs for twenty-seven years. Our philosophy is that all human beings have the right to live as independently as possible in their own communities in a dignified, supportive, non-restrictive environment. We work to integrate individuals with special needs into the wider community and to instill a better understanding of these individuals. In addition, we empower our clients to thrive and live to their fullest potential, focusing on their unique abilities. We also work to instill a better understanding of and to promote the acceptance of individuals with developmental disabilities in the community at large. Network continually strives to offer tailored and unique programming to our participants, both widening their horizons, and encouraging growth on numerous levels. Our goal is to maximize the potential of everyone we serve and to improve their quality of life.

Many also have physical disabilities, such as limited mobility, deafness, blindness, and a host of other medical conditions germane to this population. Individuals we serve range in age from 21-90. People in this diverse group run the gamut from high-functioning individuals living on their own and requiring only minimal support (from 2-4 hrs/day) to individuals who are employed and in need of assistance to retain their employment, to clients who require 24/7 care. Furthermore, staff teaches living skills such as hygiene, cooking, cleaning, and fire safety. In addition, staff also assists residents with community skills, providing motivation for clients to go to work so that they may retain employment, and encouraging them to socialize, partake in community activities, and establish support networks. The individuals served in the Individualized Home Supports Program take the advice of our caring staff and look to them as mentors. Many consider staff to be like family members.
