CAPITOL CENTER FOR THE ARTS

CONCORD, New Hampshire, 03301-0000 United States

Mission Statement

With a firm belief in the power of arts experiences to shape lives and strengthen community bonds, the CCA’s Mission is to serve area residents and visitors (both in-person and virtually) through dynamic engagements with performing artists that inspire, educate, entertain, deepen human-to-human connections, expand community vitality, and generate economic growth.

About This Cause

For nearly thirty years, the Capitol Center for the Arts (CCA) has welcomed patrons from throughout New Hampshire, New England and beyond to engage in the shared experience of live performance. With a rich programmatic calendar featuring outstanding performers from around the globe, from headlining superstars to new artists, the CCA offers its audiences the best in music, theater, dance, and comedy at both the 1,300 seat Chubb Theatre and the intimate BNH Stage. Considered a cornerstone of greater Concord, the Capitol Center serves not only as performance venues, but as a primary driver in the creative economy and a vibrant center of community life. Resuming full operations following the Covid-19 pandemic has been full of challenges, yet it also presented the opportunity to re-examine our work, identify how we can serve as better neighbors and partners, think beyond our theatre walls, rebuild programs introducing young people to live performance, and provide a rich roster of programmatic offerings to serve our entire community.
