Epoch Times is a bastion of good journalism and ethical media. The value of good and honest journalism is immeasurable. It can change society for the better. However, journalistic principles have become increasingly diluted in our current media landscape. Epoch Times, based in New York, is a news organization that believes in upholding truth and integrity. We seek to cut through the complexity of world events—especially surrounding China and how it interacts with and affects the Western world—to deliver news and perspectives not found anywhere else. We create media and events for clarity, not for persuasion. Our award-winning news and design teams provide you with an unparalleled experience, and our lifestyle feature sections are written to enrich and inspire. In the US, we report in both English and Chinese. Our Chinese operation plays the very unique role of the only Chinese media in the whole world completely—and unabashedly—independent of the Chinese government and related interests. We dive deep into local issues in every major Chinese community in the United States, also continually organize educational forums and programs in these communities. We educate around democracy, civil society, rights and responsibilities in a free society, healthcare, immigration and other key issues relevant to local Chinese communities and their engagement with US society as a whole. We also have extensive insider sources in China, which allows for our hard-hitting and prescient reporting about China—our analysts have been able to anticipate much of the seismic political change in China over the last several years. Overall—our mission is to report the news truthfully and responsibly, and let our audiences make up their own minds as to what to believe. This is the cornerstone of what we do.
