Our mission is to provide exceptional services to ensure that all people with disabilities or special needs and their families have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play in their communities.
About This Cause
Easterseals has been helping individuals with disabilities and special needs, and their families, live better lives for nearly 100 years. Children who receive our services are challenged with a variety of disabilities, including autism, cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, spina bifida, and physical and developmental delays. Our offerings include Approved Private School, early intervention programs, special classrooms, summer programs, assistive technology, and various outpatient speech, physical, and occupational therapy services. At Easterseals, we make a positive, life-changing difference in the lives of people and families challenged by today's disabilities – to ensure they have every opportunity to live, learn, work and play in our community. Last year, Easterseals served over 6,000 local children with disabilities. While we are proud to impact so many in our area, we know there are many more children who would benefit from our programs and services.
