The Community YMCA of Eastern Delaware County is a charitable association founded on Christian principles, dedicated to building a healthy spirit, mind and body. We are committed to being a positive part of family life by promoting the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
About This Cause
Help Build the Future Since 1946, our Y has fostered meaningful and lasting personal and social change in Delaware County. This Y was founded to make an important difference in the lives of people. We are here to ensure that people continue to have access to YMCA membership, fellowship and program opportunities. We work alongside our neighbors to ensure everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. The Y brings people together – from all backgrounds and circumstances – to create connections that transform lives and community. We have always believed that the YMCA is more than a building – the Y is about people – it is defined by the many caring and generous people who are members, staff, and program participants. The Y is more than a fitness center, a place to swim or play basketball. The Y is a community of people of all ages, abilities and incomes who come together to live healthier. The Y provides programs and services that transform lives.
