Our mission is to serve the economically, socially and intellectually deprived people of Haiti.
About This Cause
The Mortel High Hopes for Haiti Foundation operates and maintains a variety of educational programs, having determined that empowering people with education is the most effective means to achieve a self-sufficient and productive life. It is a challenging mission to work in Saint Marc, a community about 50 miles north of Port-au-Prince with no regular electricity, no sewage system, and limited access to water, health care and employment. But where some see poverty and despair, we see hope and opportunity. Our mission, succinctly put, is to “Empower Through Education” and with your support, we can continue to build a brighter future for Haiti!
