About This Cause
CEA provides the full continuum of services to those ages 14- adults with varying disabilities who want to work in community integrated employment and explore their future career paths. We believe that no person should be denied the right to work, have a chance to become a contributing member of their community and should be granted the opportunity to experience the pride, status and rewards that come from successful, paid employment. Over the past 50 years, CEA has successfully introduced and changed our employment service programs to reflect state and national best practices in vocational rehabilitation to meet the employment objectives of those we serve in Hunterdon, Somerset and Middlesex Counties. CEA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1970 by family members of adults with disabilities. CEA is CARF accredited and has been recognized as a "provider of choice" by DVRS in 2024. Annually, CEA works with over 350 individuals assisting them with their employment needs and goals leading them towards independence in the workplace.
