Mission Statement
The URS Club, Inc. is here to assist in carrying the message of recovery to the alcoholic or addict who still suffers. It's purpose is to demonstrate by example a life of abstinence from intoxicants, to encourage mutual support and cooperation of groups and individuals in the rehabilitation of all who are seeking recovery.
About This Cause
The URS Club, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit recovery club established in 1963 as a Non-profit Corporation. We provide a safe, clean and sober environment where people of all likes, cultures and backgrounds can come together in mutual support of each others desire to abstain from the use of intoxicants. The URS Club is host to AA, NA, GA, CMA and other recovery meetings under one roof, we come together in unity and with one goal in mind, to reach out to the still suffering alcoholic or addict. We provide many activities throughout the year for our members (the only requirement for membership is a desire to quit drinking or using) such as dances, Barbecues, fishing trips, bowling parties and much more. We have a commons area, a TV room, a snack bar, outside gathering areas and several event/meeting rooms, all combining to create a safe, clean and sober club atmosphere.
