Mission Statement
The purpose of the Friends is to provide support to the Library by raising money for items including, but not limited to, the Library’s collection, furnishings, equipment, services and programs, for the benefit of Library patrons of all ages.
About This Cause
The Friends achieves its purpose by developing its membership (also called “supporter”) base, building strong support for the Library in the community, and forging partnerships with community groups, public agencies and others on relevant library-related matters. The Friends further achieves its purpose by providing programs for its members and public programs for seniors, adults and children regarding books, educational subjects, topics of interest to the Library community and other relevant matters. The Friends promotes and encourages support for, and use of, the Library and may distribute materials of educational or other value to its members and the public.
