About This Cause
For 43 years Country Doctor (CDCHC) has provided culturally-sensitive primary & preventive healthcare to everyone regardless of insurance status, financial circumstances, or housing situation. CDCHC is a barrier-free alternative to neglect; afraid of bills unable to pay, visits to already-overwhelmed emergency rooms for non-emergent care, or a simple health condition becoming serious issue requiring hospitalization. 65% of patients live at/below poverty line. 44% no insurance. 57% minorities.
