Africare works to improve the quality of life of people in Africa. Africare assists families and communities in five core areas: agriculture and food security, health and nutrition, women’s empowerment, youth empowerment, and humanitarian assistance. Africare integrates crosscutting themes throughout its projects in the areas of natural resource management, microenterprise and civil-society capacity building.
