Mission Statement
to raise charitable funds for the purpose of educating, promoting, highlighting and strengthening community and national support for veterans’ issues in the areas of health, education, economic wellness, quality of life, and any other related areas where needed.
About This Cause
The Foundation is organized for charitable purposes, including the making of distributions that qualify under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Law (hereinafter “501(c)3”) and to receive and administer funds for charitable purposes, public welfare and education. To promote recognition of the contributions to society made by members of the United States Uniformed Services; to own and operate a museum to memorialize personnel who have made significant contributions made to the United States Armed Forces; and to otherwise ensure that there is a permanent memorial dedicated to the history of contributions made by such persons.To develop a Research and Reference Center for Uniformed Services Heritage which indexes available educational historical resource materials, collects unique or rare archival materials relevant to the history of personnel since the inception of the United States Armed Forces, and makes the materials available for study by the general public. To offer college; trade school/vocational scholarships to Uniformed Services members and their college-age dependents. To take and hold, by bequest, devise, gift, purchase or lease, either absolutely or in trust, for any of the foregoing purposes, any property, real, personal or mixed, without limitation as to the amount of value, except as limited by law. To sell, convey and dispose of any such property and to invest and reinvest the principal thereof and to deal with and expand the income for any of the before mentioned purposes, except as may be limited by any limitations contained in the instrument under which such property is received.
