Mission Statement
The World Foundation’s mission is to support projects and programs undertaken by the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, including Girl Scouts of the USA, “to enable girls and young women to develop their fullest potential as responsible citizens of the world.”
About This Cause
The Foundation has established fundraising committees known as Friends Committees that promote the work of the global girl guide/girl scout organization (WAGGGS) and each of WAGGGS’ world centers where girls gather for international experiences. The Friends Committees are: Friends of Nuestra Cabaña USA (Mexico), Friends of Our Chalet USA (Switzerland), Friends of Pax Lodge USA (United Kingdom), Friends of Sangam USA (India) and Friends of WAGGGS USA.
