Mission Statement
The Flyfisher Foundation (TFF) is the non-profit are of the Flyfisher's Club of Oregon (FCO), established i 1973 to help promote and preserve the art, science and history of the sport of fly fishing.
About This Cause
The FCO and TFF have established an impressive fund-raising tradition that to date has resulted in the donation of more than $600,000 in support of the cause listed in the mission statement above. These include the maintenance and expansion of the C. Edwin Francis collection of rare and out-of-print fly fishing literature, donated by TFF to the Multnomah County Library; provision of an annual academic scholarship to graduate degree candidates in fish biology and/or ecology at Oregon State University; and, since 2003, granting over $350,000 to conservation organizations undertaking significant work to protect and restore the river environments that support fly fishing opportunities in Oregon for present and future generations.
