Mission Statement

Silver Spring Stage is a little theater with big ideas. Our mission is to present theater that is both entertaining and thought-provoking -- the finest, the most compelling contemporary plays as well as timeless classic works -- and to engage our community onstage, backstage, and in our audiences. This makes us a true community theater: a theater that is of, by, and for our community.

About This Cause

We are an all-volunteer community theatre that has served Silver Spring, Maryland since 1967. We produce seven full-length plays per year, plus a holiday show, and a one-act festival.
