About This Cause
MACC Charities is a social service organization adapting to the present day emergency needs of those we serve in the towns of Manchester and Bolton, Connecticut. Our Community Kitchen provides a well-balanced meal and feeds anyone in town who is hungry, one hot meal is available to everyone seven days a week. We provide lunch to our town Senior Center Monday thru Friday and encourage our seniors to visit on-site over the weekends. We provide practical emergency assistance for people, connecting them to the appropriate resources available to meet the needs of those we serve and are working to educate those we serve best practices towards sustainability. Our Emergency Food Pantry serves over 300 families each month and our Community Threads thrift shoppe provides a low to no cost savings on clothing and other basic household items.
