About This Cause
Established in 1974, Marshall Foundation for Community Health leads the way for a healthier community by providing a margin of excellence for the healthcare needs of El Dorado County’s western slope. The Foundation is organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The purpose of this Foundation is to encourage, receive, administer and disburse funds donated for community health programs and for Marshall Medical Center. Charitable donations and bequests provide support to the hospital and facilities, as well as community projects that improve and meet local healthcare needs.
