Mission Statement
The mission of the PVGP is to hold a 10 day car show, race events and other fundraisers to obtain funding for the 2 charities that have been the backbone of the event for 40 years-Merakey Allegheny Valley School and Autism Society of Pittsburgh. Both of these non profits help individuals and families who are in need.
About This Cause
The PVGP holds a 10 day showcase where each specific day houses an event where proceeds benefit the 2 partner charity organizations. Ticket sales, auction items, admissions fees for individuals and automobile are then used to disperse among the organizations. With events last from July 15-July 24 2022, this event, which is the largest vintage race to be held on city streets, prepares to be in contact with over 250,000 spectators/attendees. Pittsburgh has been home to this event for 40 years this year. It’s a volunteer based organization with only 1 full time employee.
