About This Cause
Berean Church is centered around family connections and raising up active followers of Jesus Christ. We are committed to preaching the gospel, as a non-denominational, charismatic, Holy Spirit-empowered church. Berean Church was founded in 1986 by Pastors Mark and Stephanie Moder. They are ordained through Faith Christian Fellowship International (FCF) & Covenant Church (CCFI Global). They have faithfully pastored Berean Church since its inception, as well as serving the city of Pittsburgh. We believe that the local church should be MULTI-GENDER—consisting of both men and women. It should be MULTI-GENERATIONAL—made up of every age group working together for the cause of Christ. And it should be MULTI-RACIAL—welcoming people from every country, language, skin color, and nationality. The church should be an expression of heaven on earth—with every nationality and race working together as one.
