Mission Statement
Urban Impact Foundation is a Christian Community Development Organization whose vision is to bring transformation to our community by “changing lives one person, one family, one block at a time” who in turn will make a powerful impact both locally and globally. As such, our mission is to fulfill our part in serving the North Side of Pittsburgh by investing in the lives of at-risk youth, and their families in order to develop productive and responsible members of society and the community, based on Christian principles.
About This Cause
Urban Impact Foundation is a Christian Community Development Organization whose vision is to bring transformation to our community by “changing lives one person, one family, one block at a time” who in turn will make a powerful impact both locally and globally. As such, our mission is to fulfill our part in serving the North Side of Pittsburgh by investing in the lives of at-risk youth, and their families in order to develop productive and responsible members of society and the community, based on Christian principles. We offer athletic, performing arts, education, and workforce preparation programs to develop our youth in a safe and loving environment. We have a holistic approach where focus is on the whole person, developing them intellectually, physically, socially, and spiritually. Through this holistic approach character is developed, needs are identified and met, and lives are transformed, resulting in positive contributions to the community. We offer programs to all students living on the North Side and do not discriminate against any class of participants. We are an approved 501 c 3 tax exempt organization, approved as a nonprofit in Pennsylvania.
