About This Cause
One to one mentoring. Three programs: Community Based: Traditional evidence based mentoring model "Bigs" and "Littles" spend 3 to 5 hours together minimum twice per month in community settings, sporting or cultural events or sharing ordinary moments of daily live. Site-Based: This program takes place at schools, community centers or workplaces during the academic year. "Bigs" & "Littles" meet at the same location for 1 to 2 hours per week to engage in conversation, play games, participate in structured group activities or work on homework. Mentor2.0: Pairs college educated volunteers with high school mentees. A unique combination of technology and curriculum empowers volunteers to be an effective support to students throughout high school with the emphasis on college-readiness.
