Mission Statement
Bali Children's Project believes in Escaping Poverty Through Education. All programs help an underprivileged Balinese child through a form of education - through sponsorship through school, creation of kindergartens and pre-k's, HIV-AIDS education and prevention information, child protection, and children's libraries.
About This Cause
Bali Children's Project is dedicated to Education as a vehicle to help children out of a life of poverty, and also as a tool of enrichment. Programs include: School Sponsorship - Individual sponsors pay tuition for children through high school; School Program - BCP builds or rehabs existing pre-schools and/or kindergartens so that young children can have early education; School Libraries - BCP creates or rehabs libraries in Primary schools or kindergartens which will serve local children; Sex-Ed/HIV Awareness - BCP runs workshops in High Schools and Junior high throughout Bali to teach thousands of children safe sex and healthy practices; Child Protection - BCP gives workshops in Primary School to teach safety and awareness to younger children; Quality of Life - BCP provides mattresses, bicycles, and sometimes emergency relief to improve the quality of life and ability to get an education.
