CARING VOICE COALITION INC

" Caring Voice Coalition is dedicated to improving the lives of patients with chronic illnesses. We accomplish our mission by offering empowering, supportive and comprehensive outreach services. "

Charity Description

Caring Voice Coalition was founded in 2003 to support people with rare diseases who often had no place to turn in the face of soaring medical costs. It evolved organically into the national 501(c)(3) nonprofit, charitable organization it is today.

CVC still fields many calls a day and its work has grown to include comprehensive outreach programs and services. CVC provides insurance and disability education and counseling, as well as aid programs for insured or underinsured patients. With this distinct, holistic approach, CVC programs empower and support patients and their families, as well as the friends who care for them.

The organization’s distinctly dedicated, committed and passionate staff and board working together to help as many patients as possible have guided CVC’s progression over the years.

Under President, CEO Greg Smiley’s direction, CVC continues to compassionately support as many people as it can. His vision for CVC is to strengthen the importance of community and reduce the isolation, loneliness and fear that comes along with heartbreaking diagnoses.
