About This Cause

Our Vision We believe every service member, Veteran, Caregiver, their families, and Allies who served alongside our troops, who have been impacted by their service to our nation, deserve to have their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual independence restored. Founded in 2007, The Independence Fund is committed to empowering our nation’s severely wounded, injured, or ill Veterans to overcome physical, mental, and emotional wounds incurred in the line of duty. We are dedicated to improving the lives of both our Veterans and their families. Through the Independence Fund’s Mobility, Wellness, and Caregiver programs, the Independence Fund strives to bridge the gap of unmet needs for Veterans and their caregivers. The Independence Fund ensures that the services they provide focus on the goal of giving our Veterans the best mobility device options available, as well as promoting their mental and physical health.
