About This Cause
The RCMFS is in its tenth year of providing high-end classical music events, mostly featuring Russian music. Our "signature" concerts are at Nordstrom Auditorium at Benaroya Hall; other events are in a variety of smaller venues. The annual competition, which started with piano only now includes strings and chamber music groups. RCMFS is a founding partner of MICA (Mercer Island Center for the Arts). Their is a board of directors that oversees the activities and financial sustainability of the organization, and an Artistic Advisory Board that advises the Artistic Director on programs, artists, etc.
