Mission Statement
Our mission is to offer a unique expressive experience, in a safe haven, to those individuals who may not otherwise have an opportunity to participate as actors in other venues. Performing quality works with the message of inclusion and respect, Artists Unlimited’s theater program and our choral program, Voices, seeks to break down barriers and stereotypes often attributed to those who are disabled. By integrating our cast, individuals with and without disabilities often learn life skills from each other that go beyond the theater venue.
About This Cause
Since 2002 Artists Unlimited has provided opportunities for individuals with developmental, physical, or intellectual disabilities to participate in the performing arts. Productions: Artists Unlimited is proud to produce full musicals featuring colorful sets and costumes, a magnificent stage crew and orchestra, and world-class performers in a state-of-the-art theater. You’ll find popular, family-friendly Broadway hits among our lineup, and no one performs them with the same passion and dedication as our stars. Shows have included Willy Wonka, Wizard of Oz, Cinderella, Mary Poppins, Peter Pan, Annie, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, and The Little Mermaid. Voices and Dances, INSPIRE program: Voices Unlimited is a vocal group and Dances Unlimited is a dance group, both designed to allow individuals to have fun, dance and make music in a safe and comfortable environment. Children and adults of all ages and abilities are welcome to join our program. The Voices program began in 2009 and dances began in 2023. Both continue to be enjoyed by both the participants and the audiences that attend our performance.
