Mission Statement
Kids' Shopping Day is a faith based ministry designed to give new, fashionable school clothes, school supplies and hygiene items to the children of LAWRENCE COUNTY.
About This Cause
On the first Saturday of August the organization changes a Church building into a "Shopping Mall" where youth from Pre-K age through High school receive at least 2 sets of clothing, 6 pair of underwear and socks, athletic shoes, a back pack and age appropriate school supplies and some hygiene items. All without the parent or guardian along to do the choosing. A personal shopper assists them during the shopping experience. All of the items are given to them at no cost.
