Mission Statement
Our mission is to equip stakeholders with financial resources that promote the economic empowerment of youth and BIPOC communities at-large.
About This Cause
The Foundation sponsored its first fiscal project in November 2013. We've been doing it right (3rd Edition: Fiscal Sponsorship 6 Ways to Do It Right) ever since and have successfully sponsored over 20 small organizations' community-based projects. Our technologically savvy staff provides a spectrum of community services, serving as a sounding board for projects needing help getting started and a resource for those needing administrative support. Our primary focus, financial management, uses state-of-the-art cloud-based systems to keep our fiscal client's data collection readily available and project budget on track. Our mission is to help them succeed. We maintain the back office administration while our clients focus on their cause. Prospective clients' mission/values in projects should align with youth, professional and economic development, financial literacy, educational advancement, housing stability, veterans services, and human services to vulnerable populations. Types of projects or services: • Equity and social justice: Diversity and Inclusion in the workforce • Children, youth, and families: Financial education, leveraging government benefits • Economic development: Workforce development, Entrepreneurship • Youth development: College and career readiness, apprenticeships, internships • Housing: Affordability/homeless shelters – women & children • Communities of color/minorities: Professional development and cultural competence • Professional development: Certifications and Entrepreneurship Training Below are just a few of the many financial services we provide for our small organizations: Services we offer projects: • Bill Pay • Full QuickBooks bookkeeping/accounting • Metrics and Evaluations and Digital Media Marketing • Office space/training room space • Organizational and Board Development • Quarterly P/R Local, State, and Federal • Outsourced payroll, human resources, Criminal and Background Checks • Tax reporting: 940, 990, W-2, 1099 • In-Kind event venues for clients
